Arrive at Farap border on the Uzbek-Turkmen frontier. Ashgabat to Darvaza Gas Crater
Drive north into the vast Karakum Desert, stopping at a local Turkmen village for chai and bread baked in a tamdyr oven.Arrive at the Darvaza Gas Crater by late afternoon. Departure via Dashoguz Border
Wake early for a final sunrise view of the crater. After breakfast, drive to Dashoguz.Transfer to the Dashoguz–Uzbek border crossing. Your guide will assist with exit formalities. Farewell and onward journey.
